Another Monday of the week is here! How are you doing? I hope all is great! Time is really running so fast now. Some more days and January 2009 is over. I could still remember the New year’s party we had. Anyway, it is nice to share stories here especially my own personal experiences and others too. It is almost two years now that my sister migrated in Las Vegas. Actually she is married to an American. She is now presently working as Desk Nurse in one of the Home Care there. Going to the United States now is not easy especially after the 9/11 tragedy. I even applied for a tourist visa there in 2007 but it was denied. Now that I am a German citizen, I had the chance to visit US. In fact I was there last year for two months vacation and visited my sister.
As far as I can remember, my brother-in-law hired a lawyer to process the K1 visa of my sister. I exactly don’t know if it is a Federal Lawyer. But anyway, I just read that Federal Lawyers handle cases like criminal cases. I guess what my brother-in-law hired is not really a federal lawyer. One can hire a federal lawyer if he needs them to depend him on the court due to criminal charges. This is not an easy situation. If you have problems like this, you must know where to go and hire the services of the experts and professionals that have experience in these cases. If you want a fair and just result about the sentencing, you should run for help at Los Angeles Federal Attorneys. Visit their sites for more infos and guidelines! I wish you luck!! have a great Monday!!

Don’t forget to take time to be happy!!
What Is Life?
A philosopher went into a closet for ten years to contemplate the question, What is life? When he came out, he went into the street and met an old colleague, who asked him where in heaven’s name he had been all those years.
“In a closet,” he repied. “I wanted to know what life really is.”
“And have you found an answer?”
“Yes,” he replied. “I think it can best be expressed by saying that life is like a bridge.”
“That’s all well and good,” replied the colleage, “but can you be a little more explicit? Can you tell me how life is like a bridge?”
“Oh,” replied the philosopher after some thought, “maybe you’re right; perhaps life is not like a bridge.”

I miss my birthplace Midsayap. Yesterday was the Halad festival in my birthplace. I know how this festival is always celebrated not only by Midsayapeños but also with people from different parts of the Philippines and the the world. When Cebu celebrates Sinulog, Midsayap also feasts about halad. I hope I can visit again this beautiful place. Above photo are the participants with colorful and festive customs. Here is a little info about Midsayap halad Festival.
source: http://www.nscb.gov.ph/ru12/Municipal%20Profile/Midsayap/Profile.htm
Annually, the people of Midsayap prepares for the grand celebration of the town fiesta popularly known as Halad sa Sto. Niño Festival which is held every third Sunday of January. The Halad Festival, celebrated in honor of the town’s patron saint Sr. Sto. Niño, is highlighted by the colorful street dancing and parade competition. Groups from various towns in Cotabato Province as well as from Cotabato City and neighboring towns of Maguindanao Province troop annually to Midsayap to participate in the contest and try their luck to win the top prize.
The festival gained national recognition when the 2003 Halad champions, all students of Alamada National High School, represented Region XII in the national street dancing competition and won the P1 million grand prize in the Aliwan Fiesta held in May 2003 in Intramuros, Manila. Inspired by their back-to-back wins, the group participated again in the Pamaskong Aliwan Festival in December of that same year and won the P1 million grand prize. Both festivals were part of the Visit Philippines 2003 program of the Department of Tourism.

I guess this is a good site for me and I know for sure, for you too! I love cooking of anything that comes out of my mine. Honestly I am not so good with baking. I know how to bake a banana cake but my husband bake better than I am. I remember my husband who used to bake cake and cookies before especially during Christmas time. I love it! I just found this easy cookie recipes in the net and my mind is thinking again about food.
It is really a great site because they offer a lot of recipes not only for baking cookies but also dinner recipes, salad recipes, dessert recipes and so many more. The best thing I like is the healthy recipes that they offer. I was surprised as I was browsing! I guess all the recipes and instructions there are for free. I can add more recipes in my list. My husband will be surprised next time if there are new menus prepared on the table. I am quite excited. Don’t forget to consider their great cookie recipes! What a very interesting site!! will be back soon! Have a great evening to all!

Mabuhay!
I got worried since last Wednesday after receiving a message in my Yahoo IM. My sister said that a lot of people were homeless in the coastal of Cebu City and other parts of the Philippines due to strong waves of the sea. I also get worried because our house there is just located very near the sea. Above photo are the stones filed near our house. My sister said that due to very strong waves a lot of wooden houses in my Mother’s province were swept by these incredible waves. This was the photo sent by my sister last week. I hope that the situation will be better soon and the homeless will be provided with shelter to stay. I parents also got worried about it. God always have plans and whatever it is, there are always good reasons behind it!! God bless us all!

It’s weekend again! I had a great coffee time with my husband this morning since he got off today. Good for me because I can talk with somebody. I was discussing something to him about vacation this year. He knows that it is always my favorite topic. We will see! I want to give you a web info today. If ever you are interested in this topic, I guess you will be benefited with this especially if you are very good in Information technology, computers, internet and programming. You might also want to start your own business online through web hosting. I guess you already heard about the word, web hosting. Do you?
There are a lot of web hosting sites nowadays. You can search in the internet for what you want but if possible you have to be very careful in choosing which one is really the best. I mean a web hosting provider that offers a lot of benefits and advantages including good customer services. You might also need to consider the price. Of course with the economic crisis that hit us so bad since last year, I believed everybody is looking for the cheapest and affordable one. Simply use your mouse, surf the net and find the cheapest one. If not, you can try Pick A Web. I guess I will give you the choice to decide whatever you mean is the best one! have a great weekend!

I am finally back here after enjoying the warm of our small fireplace downstairs. It is very cold now in Europe and sometimes warm coming from wooden fireplace sounds therapeutic especially to my back pain. We are also using electric heater inside the house which I find also good. Anyway, you might find my title weird. To tell you honestly guys, it might only be a dream but I have a lot of dreams that already came true. I dream before to drive my own car and I got it now. I dreamed to build a house back home and it finally came true. I dream to travel to different countries, slowly by slowly it is realizing until now. I dream to finish College and I am a Bachelors degree holder now. Thank God to all these blessings and other dreams that came true.
Now, a dream to own a yacht or a small boat is another dream. It is me and my father’s dream. I hope we can have it both. Besides if this dream will not come true at least I already rode a boat a lot of times. Another dream might be riding these so-called Miami yacht charters in Florida. Oh yes, this is one of the places I am planning to visit next time. Why not? I should be in Florida during my visit last year in the United States but due to some unavoidable circumstances, it did not materialized. There is always next time anyway. Or maybe having a cruise with Tropical boat charters. Hmmm.. I know this will come true one of these days. But I need to go home first and visit my family this year. I wish you a lovely evening guys. I have to slowly sign-off now. The night is long especially this winter time! Good night!

Christ is Coming Again!
A voice is calling,
“Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness;
Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
Let every valley be lifted up,
And every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain,
And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed,
And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”
Isaiah 40:3-4 NASB

They asked Him, saying, “Why is it that the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
And He said to them, “Elijah does first come and restore all things. And yet how is it written of the Son of Man that He will suffer many things and be treated with contempt?
“But I say to you that Elijah has indeed come, and they did to him whatever they wished, just as it is written of him.”

We live by faith
Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
Therefore, being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord–
for we walk by faith, not by sight–
we are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:5-10 NASB
