Old Bible

A little boy opened the big and old family Bible with fascination, looking at the old pages as he turned them. Then something fell out of the Bible and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that has been pressed in between the pages.

“Momma, look what I found,” the boy called out.

“What have you got there, dear?” his mother asked.

With astonishment in the young boy’s voice he answered, “It’s Adam’s suit!!”

Happy Wednesday! I got a good sleep last night as if I don’t worry of anything or don’t have a problem. I really don’t have a big problem beside that I believed that all people have problems of its own. I live my life to the fullest and sometimes really don’t care of what other people say. I know myself and I am proud of being me. I might not be a great person but I always do the best that I can offer.

Today is such a lovely day that I spent the whole morning working in our garden. After my tea time and browsing the daily newspaper, I went immediately outside to enjoy the beauty of nature that can be found in our garden. Thirteen tulip flowers are fully grown now. I am still waiting for a hundred or two to fully bloom. Our cherry tree starts to bear flowers too. Our strawberries still needs to be cultivated in the next days. I also cut some of my roses and other plants in the garden. Some wild flowers are also blooming. It was a fulfilling morning and I am happy again to work in our garden. I wish to have a tree nursery once we decided to go back home for good! At least now, I enjoy of what I am doing and I never feel bored because some simple things keep me happy and contented everyday! I hope you too! have a blessed day to all!!

I am ready to answer the cool questions for Manic Monday #162..

How often do you change your toothbrush?
If I don’t forget it, I always change it once a month. I always remember what my dentist told me back home to change it at least once a month. My teacher in the elementary grade also said the same thing. I believed it is a good way of taking care our teeth and for reason of health and hygiene.

What is your favorite item of clothing to shop for?
If you have to ask me about this? I got a lot in my list…shoes, bags, pants, blouses, t’shirts..Now I already learn more about shopping. We all know that crisis is everywhere and we should already be economically and financially aware of this and get ready for whatever future things that will happen. I only wait till these items are on sale like having winter sale or summer sale. I already got more than enough now. I really don’t need to buy stuffs now but if I got some extra budget and I really like the stuffs, I might buy them. I just went shopping today but I got very good deals. Imagine I got around 75% off..not bad..It is not for me anyway..as presence to bring with me when I go for vacation back home. We have to slowly tighten our belts now and save some bucks!

Do you use social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc.)? Which do you use most often?
I use a lot of social medias and blog directories. Some of them are friendster, my space, tagged, facebook, twitter, blog catalog, names database, my bloglog, twitter and some other more. Just now I don’t have enough time to update some of them. I use friendster often because it is the first social media that I joined..

How was your Friday! For some it is a good day because it is TGIF again! It means weekend is coming and time to relax, visit friends, have a weekend trip or simply spend time with the family. Today is a very nice day. It was sunny and the sky was blue which is a very nice spring time weather. I might be very busy this weekend. I started working in our garden since yesterday and want to finish it tomorrow once my husband will bring all the heavy flower pots outside. I bought some flowers for planting already. It is also a busy weekend because I will be attending a friend’s birthday party tomorrow. I also have to clean the house because some friends are staying here for some days next week.

I am excited to see the flowers in our garden to bloom again especially the roses and the tulips. Of course, I am happy to work again in our garden. It also means some exercise for me. It simply means that I don’t need to take the best diet pill to lose extra weight. Just now I already see some narcissus and wild flowers growing in our garden. The leaves from the different flowers I planted some years ago are starting to grow again. I’ll see you later again! Have a great and blessed weekend in advance!!

How was your Thursday? I hope you are all doing good! Some more minutes and midnight is here which means time for me to bid goodbye online. If you have been reading my Euro Travel and Adventure Blog which you can also see on my header, you might be able to read about our short vacation. We also visited good friends during that short trip. It is a nice feeling when you see friends again especially if you only see each other two or three times a year. Sometimes there is excitement especially if you seldom talk over the phone. We are happy seeing them again and we also had some fun as we visited these good friends. One purpose of our trip is to also look for desktop or laptop but since we don’t have enough time to do so, I might ended up shopping online again. Of course, I am not buying for wholesale computers because I just need one to replace my obsolete one. Hopefully this month I can already purchase a new one! wish me luck! Goodnight to all!

It can be a very very sad and tragic experience when one of your family have a terminal sickness like having cancer. My husband’s co-worker’ wife was diagnosed last January of this year with cancer. I don’t know what really kind of cancer she has but husband said that her liver and lungs are greatly affected. Is it called a Mesothelioma cancer?

I surfed about Mesothelioma cancer and this is its little info according to Wikipedia;

“Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is almost always caused by previous exposure to asbestos. In this disease, malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body’s internal organs. Its most common site is the pleura (outer lining of the lungs and internal chest wall), but it may also occur in the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity), the heart, the pericardium (a sac that surrounds the heart) or tunica vaginalis.”

My husband’s co-worker’s wife is working as an Accounting Clerk in one of the Building Construction Firm. I don’t have any idea if she is exposed or was exposed before to asbestos which cause Mesothelioma cancer. The doctor even told her that only miracle can cure her sickness. As of now, she is still undergoing chemotherapy. I hope and pray that God will perform a miracle to her. Lastly, I want to let you know that “health is wealth”. We must always be thankful if we are healthy all the time! God bless us all!
