Good evening folks! Midnight is almost here again. I hope you had a great Monday. We always have busy days since last month. We have been doing some house renovation and until now it is still not over. We are just doing it by ourselves to save some money. In fact, we saved thousands of Euros for this but it requires a lot of hardwork. I also went to Mobelhof last week to shop for new rugs. I bought a new one for our kitchen. I also need to go back to this home and furniture shop because there are some things we need for the windows and curtains. I hope I don’t forget about it because I already did last week. I better make a list of what I exactly need. Till next time folks. Have a great week!

What a such dark sky in London as we visited Westminster Abbey. This Gothic church is also known as The Collegiate Church of St Peter at Westminster.
Here is an image I took during my visit last 2008.
HISTORY
According to a tradition first reported by Sulcard in about 1080, the Abbey was first founded in the time of Mellitus (d. 624), Bishop of London, on the present site, then known as Thorn Ey (Thorn Island); based on a late “tradition” that a fisherman called “Aldrich” on the River Thames saw a vision of Saint Peter near the site. This seems to be quoted to justify the gifts of salmon from Thames fishermen that the Abbey received in later years. The proven origins are that in the 960s or early 970s, Saint Dunstan, assisted by King Edgar, installed a community of Benedictine monks here. A stone abbey was built around 1045–1050 by King Edward the Confessor as part of his palace there and was consecrated on 28 December 1065, only a week before the Confessor’s death and subsequent funeral and burial. It was the site of the last coronation prior to the Norman conquest of England, that of his successor Harold II. From 1245 it was rebuilt by Henry III who had selected the site for his burial. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westminster_Abbey

It is always a nice feeling when you some good friends around. Friends not only during good times but bad times as well. I am thankful that I have some of them. Last week, I me again a new friend. I was quite hesitant to meet her because of the unpleasant experience I had with a former friend. This former friend seems to have a radar detector because she gossips a lot of what’s happening within the circle of friends. I even noticed before that she want to know all of my activities which is quite not good. At least, I learned a lot from what she had done to me. I have a good feeling that this new fellow Pinay I met last week is a good one. I will be very happy if she can be my true friend through thick and thin. Having true and loyal friends is one of the best things we can have in life. It is a blessing too! Agree folks?

“The cross upon which Jesus died
Is a shelter in which we can hide;
And its grace so free is sufficient for me,
And deep is its fountain- as wide as the sea.”

How are doing? I hope all is fine with all of you? I had again a little headache today but I still managed to go for grocery shopping. I should be going to the doctor but changed my mind. At least, I am feeling very better now compared last Wednesday. I was lying in bed the whole day last Wednesday because everytime I stood-up, I felt that the world is turning and I always feel like vomiting. I had no choice but to stay in bed. That is also the reason why I don’t have the chance to update my blogs and surf for playstation 3. I hope that I will be feeling back to normal again tomorrow. That is also the reason why I want to bid goodbye now and go to bed earlier. Take care folks and have a great Friday ahead! Thanks goodness that I am back online again.

I just read a very inspiring story in my inbox. Actually this was already in my inbox for some days now but I just don’t have the time to open it. With the economic crisis that is going on in the world now, I believed that sometimes the spirit of entrepreneurship can help like the one in the story below. If you are only diligent and have patient for sure you will survive financially in this very difficult time. Thank you very much to Bo. Sanchez for this very inspiring story. I wish you all a wonderful weekend in advance. I am taking a short break and might browse about phentermine later.
Here is the short story that was forwarded in my inbox.
“I had a conversation that was incredibly inspiring.
I met Fely (not her real name), a mother of two kids. She was a masseuse/reflexologist earning P12,000 a month. She said they lived in the slums. I asked her what her husband’s work was.
“He sells banana-cue (fried banana),” she said.
“Where?” I asked.
“On the street. Right in front of a bank,” Fely said.
“How much is a banana-cue?” I was curious.
“Five pesos per stick.”
“And how long has he been doing this?” I asked.
“More than ten years now. It’s really hard work. He works for 12 hours everyday,” Fely said.
“Wow. How much does he earn doing that?” I was expecting she was going to tell me “P10,000 a month”. Her answer floored me.
She said, “He earns P800 to P1000 a day.”
I didn’t hide my shock. “Is that gross?”
“No, that’s minus all the expenses already. That’s pure profit.”
“Is that from Monday to Friday?”
“No Brother Bo, he works seven days a week.”
I began to calculate. Her husband, the banana-cue vendor, was earning an average of P27,000 a month! I began to laugh. “I wonder if he knows that he earns more than some of those bank employees who buy banana-cue from him?”
“Yes, he knows,” Fely smiled, “but he just doesn’t tell them.” She added, “During Christmas, he earns much more because he also sells Christmas wrapping paper. So we too enjoy a 13th month Bonus.”
Friends, I believe many Filipinos are fantastic entrepreneurs. Hard-working. Patient. Creative. We just don’t celebrate it.
I believe you too can be an entrepreneur.” by Bo. Sanchez

I would love to share this beautiful sharing I received in my inbox. It is better to share it before I delete it. I hope that we are all blessing not a curse. Keep reading!
BLESSING OR CURSE
We love to bless and be blessed. We believe in blessings.
Some curse and are cursed. Some believe in curses.
Do you believe in curses? If you do not, then why do you believe in blessings? Is it our belief that makes either blessings or curses work?
Curses are as real as blessings. If we have faith when we curse, that which we curse is accursed indeed. If we have faith when we bless, that which we bless is truly blessed. Be generous so as to bless. Be careful so as not to curse. Be loving so as to be a blessing. Why curse anyway? But Jesus cursed the barren fig tree. He did! It was because, being barren, the fig tree already ceased to be a blessing long before it was cursed. By cursing the fig tree, Jesus brought to consciousness what the fig tree really had already become: a curse.
Be fruitful and be a blessing. Do not be a curse. But we are not fig trees. When we are barren, there is still hope for us to heal and bear fruit in due time. And this is Good News!
Be healed and bear fruit. Bear fruit and bless. To be healed, we need to be cleansed as Jesus cleansed the temple with its maladies for it to be truly what it should be — a house of blessing, never a den of thieves. Be cleansed and be what you should really be. Be what you are truly meant to be and bless others.
To be cleansed, we must pray. Prayer purifies us with the presence of God. This is grace. Pray and be purified. Be in the presence of God and bless others.
To bless, we must love. Love makes us the presence of God in the world. This is virtue. Love and be a blessing. Be the presence of God and bless others.
Are you a blessing or a curse? Fr. Bobby Titco
Reflection Question:
Am I a blessing or a curse? Am I fruitful or barren?
Beginning today, Lord Jesus, I will pray not only for You to bless me but for You to transform and use me to be Your blessing to others. Be it far from me that I become a curse to anyone. Amen.
St. Wiliam of Gellone, pray for us.

How are you doing folks? I hope that you are having a great week. I am here to give you a little update. Last Monday, I read a news online regarding a woman who committed suicide in the leaning Tower of Pisa. I felt very sad about it. I believed life is always great and I am always thankful that despite of all troubles, problems and adversities I experienced in life, I am still given the courage and will to take a look on the positive side of life. Thanks God for all the help and support. I hope to give you more updates when my computer is working better. I also hope to have time to browse about atv riding. Did you hear about it? I also wish you a lovely evening especially to all friends in Europe! See you again tomorrow. take care folks! Lastly, always remember life is always beautiful no matter what!

Peter sees the opportunity to suffer for the Gospel as a blessing as it means we are being conformed to the life of Christ who suffered for our salvation. This gives us the basis for a Christian understanding of suffering that is very different that of the world. If we incorporate this understanding in how we deal with our daily suffering, we are more likely to remain faithful to God’s call to
discipleship.
1 Peter 4:7-13
7 Beloved: The end of all things is at hand. Therefore, be serious and sober-minded so that you will be able to prayers. 8 Above all, let your love for one another be intense, because love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaining. 10 As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace. 11 Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. 12 Beloved, do not be surprised that a trial by fire is occurring among you, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice to the extent that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice exultantly. s. kyregma
