Rowing Away

There was a old lady that was rowing a boat in a corn field. A man stopped and started yelling at her. A second man stopped and asked the first man why he was yelling.

The first man said: “Can’t you see the lady rowing in the dry corn field?”

The second guy said: “Go out and tell her yourself!”

The first guy said: “I Would but… I can’t swim!”

The Richest Man In The Valley

A rich landowner named Carl often rode around his vast estate so he could congratulate himself on his great wealth.
One day while riding around his estate on his favorite horse, he saw Hans, an old tenant farmer. Hans was sitting under a tree when Carl rode by.
Hans said, ‘I was just thanking God for my food.’
Carl protested, ‘If that is all I had to eat, I wouldn’t feel like giving thanks.’
Hans replied, ‘God has given me everything I need, and I am thankful for it.’
The old farmer added, ‘It is strange you should come by today because I had a dream last night. In my dream a voice told me, ‘The richest man in the valley will die tonight.’ I don’t know what it means, but I thought I ought to tell you.’
Carl snorted, ‘Dreams are nonsense,’ and galloped away, but he could not forget Hans’ words: ‘The richest man in the valley will die tonight.’
He was obviously the richest man in the valley, so he invited his doctor to his house that evening.
Carl told the doctor what Hans had said. After a thorough examination, the doctor told the wealthy landowner, ‘Carl, you are as strong and healthy as a horse. There is no way you are going to die tonight.’
Nevertheless, for assurance, the doctor stayed with Carl, and they played cards through the night.
The doctor left the next morning and Carl apologized for becoming so upset over the old man’s dream.
At about nine o’clock, a messenger arrived at Carl’s door.
‘What is it?’ Carl demanded.
The messenger explained, ‘It’s about old Hans. He died last night in his sleep.’

Being rich has nothing to do with money or possessions. But it has everything to do with having a relationship with God.

Success has a lot of meaning for each person. I would also say, there are kinds of success in life according to one’s experience about it!! Success can be a level of status, an achievement of a goal, a dream come true or simply means the opposite of failure. I can say, I am successful because some of my goals and dreams of seeing different countries and cities are slowly coming true. I can also say I am successful because through my hard work, diligence and help from my family I was able to finish in College. Having a great and loving husband can also mean success and happiness for me. Helping my family is also a big success for me especially sending my brothers and sisters to go to College. And yes, they are successful College graduates now!! What does success means for you???Or how do you define success in your own way??Any idea to share?? I can also say that through these successes I have in life, I am a sort of Nouveau Riche person..well not by means of achieving material wealth but other wealth like my successes and happiness in life.

I have some good friends out there..Not only good friends but very very good ones!! and I have lots of them back in the Philippines and even around the world. Most of them are my classmates back in high school and college. I also met some online friends who have been very good!! There are some friends who might not be true to us. I already met one and its my first time to meet such kind of person. After knowing that she betrayed me, I immediately told her to end our friendship. I believed I made the right decision based on this saying;
