This is not really a good word but sometimes we are experiencing stress. I guess there are a lot of kinds of stress and there are also things that caused it. Sometimes hurrying for a doctor’s appoinment, catching up for working hours, catching a flight, etcetera, can also be stressful. That is the reason why hubby is always waking-up early to also go to work earlier. Sometimes stress is also caused by having problems. Whether it is a financial problem because you cannot pay anymore for your car or house mortgage, insurances that are due or some loans that can’t be paid anymore This can be very stressful..
Don’t you know that stress can also caused insomnia? This is a kind of sleeping disorder. Sometimes doctors are prescribing the best sleeping pills to medicate and help people who are having this problem. That is also the reason why if possible, I don’t really want to have stress. I better live a simple but happy life than having stress. I am very grateful that as of this moment everything is quite working good for me and my family. Thanks goodness! I hope you too!

“Lord, help us to redeem the time
You give us everyday-
To take opportunity
To follow and obey.”

Good day everyone! Sunshine is here and I am very happy about it. It seems that I am recharge again after the very cold winter months. We are still in the winter season but I am glad that at this time, we are already having a full sunshine.
Anyway, back to my main topic. I met new friends last week. They seems to be fine and I like them. I like especially one of them because of her very beautiful face. I did not see any pimples or acne and her face is really fine and fair. I am wondering if she uses accutane to maintain that beautiful face. I simply told her that her face is so clear and simply beautiful. If you are not familiar with accutane, it is a form of treatment for acne. I suggest you better browse online for more information about it. Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine!

Let us never doubt the capacity and power of God to heal. Let us always believe in His goodness towards us even in the midst of trial and suffering as it is then that He is closest to us. Let us pray for the grace to be submissive to His will as we will only then discover what it truly means to be His disciple, and in walking in His ways, the wonders of a relationship with Him.
Mark 1:40-45
40 A leper came to him and kneeling down begged him and said, “If you wish, you can make me clean.” 41 Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, “I do will it. Be made clean.” 42 The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean. 43 Then, warning him sternly, he dismissed him at once. 44 Then he said to him, “See that you tell no one anything, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.” 45 The man went away and began to publicize the whole matter. He spread the report abroad so that it was impossible for Jesus to enter a town openly. He remained outside in deserted places, and people kept coming to him from everywhere.

Good evening folks! I am finally back after a three-day trip. It was an interesting weekend trip after seeing Berlin and meetings new friends too. While stopping in one of the restaurants somewhere in the state of Sachsen-Anhalt, I bought a magazine to read in the bus. I read how a very fat lady lost 30 kilos in 6 months. She made one of the best diets that work. I can’t imagine how she did that and it worked for her. I am still wishing to get rid of my excess fat and weight. I have to read first the whole article how did that woman succeed in losing thirty kilos in just six months! It was truly unbelievable especially when I saw some pictures of her in the magazine. I believed I still have the chance if I will cooperate with myself. I can still try. Good luck to me once again.

What do we have to gain from being jealous of someone else – who they are or what they have? Precisely nothing! So, why do we waste our time and energy on this emotion? I have no idea other than to suggest that we are sometimes too proud to accept the way things are and because we usually do not have the power to change these things directly, we stew in jealousy and envy of others’ good fortune.
Genesis 4:1-15, 25
1 The man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I have produced a man with the help of the LORD.” 2 Next she bore his brother Abel. Abel became a keeper of flocks, and Cain a tiller of the soil. 3 In the course of time Cain brought an offering to the LORD from the fruit of the soil, 4 while Abel, for his part, brought one of the best firstlings of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, 5 but on Cain and his offering he did not. Cain greatly resented this and was crestfallen. 6 So the LORD said to Cain: “Why are you so resentful and crestfallen? 7 If you do well, you can hold up your head; but if not, sin is a demon lurking at the door: his urge is toward you, yet you can be his master.” 8 Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let us go out in the field.” When they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him. 9 Then the LORD asked Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” He answered, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” 10 The LORD then said: “What have you done! Listen: your brother’s blood cries out to me from the soil! 11 Therefore you shall be banned from the soil that opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 If you till the soil, it shall no longer give you its produce. You shall become a restless wanderer on the earth.” 13 Cain said to the LORD: “My punishment is too great to bear. 14 Since you have now banished me from the soil, and I must avoid your presence and become a restless wanderer on the earth, anyone may kill me at sight.” 15 “Not so!” the LORD said to him. “If anyone kills Cain, Cain shall be avenged sevenfold.” So the LORD put a mark on Cain, lest anyone should kill him at sight. 25 Adam again had relations with his wife, and she gave birth to a son whom she called Seth. “God has granted me more offspring in place of Abel,” she said, “because Cain slew him.”

I remember a friend who was formerly a flight sterwardess. In fact, she was an international stewardess of one of the largest air freight company. She had travelled in many parts of the world because of her job. One of the images I saw from her travel was taken in Sydney, Australia. Good for her because she don’t need to browse and search for cheap sydney hotels because the company is paying for all her accommodation and travel expenses. I felt sad after hearing that she quitted her job to start a family. I believed it was a difficult decision for her but I agree she had chosen the right one.
Anyway, do you know why this post is entitled beautiful Sydney? It is because I am fascinated by the beauty of this city especially its wildlife and nature, historical sights, famous landmarks and also the people’s culture and tradition.
I always wanted to see its iconic landmark which is the Sydney Opera House. It is considered to be one of the most famous structures in this city. The Sydney Tower in the city centre is also a good place to have a beautiful view of the city. If you love history like me, Parramatta in the west of Sydney is a very interesting site to see the oldest buildings of this city.
Museums and galleries in Sydney are also worthy to visit. Some of it don’t even require for entrance fees. The Australian Museum, The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Museum of Sydney are only some of its interesting museums to visit.
I believed visiting this city can be a very nice and memorable experience. I just find Sydney beautiful! Lastly, I am happy to know that my friend is now pregnant.

I just can’t delete this messages without sharing to all of you. Thanks to Fr. Rudy Horst for these very inspiring words. This is also in relation to the previous Bible readings posted here. Please continue rreading;
The Greek philosopher Aristotle wrote, “Happiness is that which everybody seeks.” He also observes that everything people do is what they believe will bring them happiness. But the problem is that what we think will bring us happiness does not in fact always bring us true and lasting happiness. So Aristotle says that the ethical person knows and does what can truly bring them not just excitement but true and lasting happiness.
Another word for true and lasting happiness is “blessedness” or “beatitude.” In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus shows that He wants His followers to have true and lasting happiness, the happiness that the world cannot give. The eight beatitudes constitute a road map for anyone seeking to attain this true happiness.
If the world were asked to draw up the “Beatitudes of the 21st Century,” we would get a list very different from that which Jesus gives.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit” would become “Blessed are the rich.”
“Blessed are those who mourn” would become “Blessed are those having fun.”
“Blessed are the meek” would become “Blessed are the smart.”
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness” would become “Blessed are those who wine and dine.”
“Blessed are the merciful” would become “Blessed are the powerful.”
“Blessed are the pure in heart” would become “Blessed are the slim in body.”
And so on…
We see that Jesus’ values are counter-cultural. We cannot accept His teachings and at the same time accept all the values of our society. The question for us today, therefore, is this: “Do we live our lives following the values of the world as a way of attaining happiness or do we live by the teachings of Jesus? If you live by the teachings of Jesus, then “rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.” Fr. Rudy Horst, SVD
Reflection Question:
Where do I seek true happiness? Do I look for it in the wrong places?
Lord, I feel that I am still far from attaining the happiness You intend for me. Cleanse my heart and mind so that I will be able to follow You and hear You one day say to me, “Blessed are you.”
St. Savina, pray for us.

Snow is gone but it is still cold outside. You still don’t need to trust the weather. That is the reason why I still wear warm clothes everytime I go out from the house. Last week, I visited a friend and told her that I need a new handy digital camera. She browsed for cheap cameras online but I still found the price quite expensive. Good to know, I found another site that sells cheap ones. My old digitaal camera which I always have in my bag is not working good now. I always say to friends that it has cancer now because everytime I click it, it always took so long for clicking. My new DSLR camera is too big inside my bag. That is the reason why I want a small one only for daily use.

Sometimes we are simply better off just accepting the way God does things than to try and understand the way His mind and will works. When we speak of God we always do so with a sense of analogy. To transfer our human experiences on to the all-powerful and all-perfect God would be to do Him a huge injustice. No matter how well I live a certain virtue, God does it better, even infinitely better. We just have to learn to accept this fact of our imperfect lives.
1 Corinthians 1:26-31
26 Consider your own calling, brothers and sisters. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. 27 Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong, 28 and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something, 29 so that no human being might boast before God. 30 It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, 31 so that, as it is written, “Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.”
