Travel and Memories! I always love watching the snapshots I took from my past travels. I believed I am lucky to explore some of the world’s beautiful sights. Thank you dear Lord for this chance and opportunity.
This snapshot was taken when our bus was passing this area somewhere in Cote d’Azur, famous as French Riviera in English. Isn’t it a lovely view? I wish to visit again this area of France in the future.
Lastly, I am thanking God for all the blessings and graces HE showered upon me. Thank you dear Lord most of all for the gift of life!

Summer time is festival time in Germany. I always love this season because there are a lot of events and celebrations going on in and around our area. Last Wednesday, I read in the newspaper that the Volksfest will be starting soon in Neumarkt. This is a municipality in Upper Palatinate part of Bavaria, Germany.
Last year, we witnessed again the Volksfest or festival parade in this place. You can see a lot of colorful costumes, decorated floats, horse carriages and many more. I also love the bands or groups of drums and bugles playing their music during the parade. I wondered if they are playing a professional French horn like what I saw in a site online. I believed, yes! Look at this huge horn during the festival parade from last year in Neumarkt.
I would love to see this festival again next week. Want to come with me? Cheers!

Hello folks! It seems that July is ending very soon. I hope that you had a great one during the past days of this month. I am very grateful that I truly had a wonderful one except that I was sick for some days. Thanks God that I am feeling very better now. My cough and colds are almost gone and hope to be washed away soon. I want to visit our doctor tomorrow for some check-up. I was just feeling dizzy since 4 days now. I just want to make it sure especially that I want my health to be always 100% perfect. This is one of the most important things we can have in life.
Since July is ending very soon, I would like to wish everyone a great month of August. I hope and pray that the coming month will be wonderful one for all of us. I am thanking God for all the blessings He had bestowed on us. God is truly great!
Take care everyone and be safe!

It is summer sale in Germany. This is perfect especially for those who are hunting for cheap shopping. Imagine you can save up to 70% of the items. This is also the reason why I bought 5 leather sandals for amazing prices. Instead of paying around 250.00 Euros, I only spent 80.00 Euros for it. Imagine the savings I got! Now I am thinking of dyeing leather to have a unique color of one or two of my sandals. Thanks to this site I found online. I now have the idea on how to dye leather of all kinds.
See you later folks and have a nice day!

This might be a joke but sometimes this is happening. I just read this in my friends wall in facebook. Did this happened to you? Here is the story; Enjoy reading folks!
“Two men, one American and an Indian were sitting in a bar and discussing about their family problems.
The Indian man said to the American, ‘We have problem in India we can’t marry the one whom we love, You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I haven’t even met once.’ We call this arranged marriage. I don’t want to marry a woman whom I don’t love… I told them that openly and now have a hell lot of family problems.’
The American said, talking about love marriages… In America We can marry the one whom we love ……I’ll tell you my story. ‘I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years. After a couple of years, my
father fell in love with my step-daughter and married her,so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father’s father-in-law.
Legally now my daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother. More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is myfather’s brother and so he is my uncle.
Situations turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father’s son, my brother is my grandson. Ultimately, I have become my own grandfather and I am my own grandson.”
AND YOU SAY YOU HAVE FAMILY PROBLEMS
The Indian fainted……..!!!”
Thanks Marvs for sharing this! This is cool but true sometimes. Have a nice day everyone!

It was perfect day when we went to the Oldtimertreffen (old timer gathering) in Neumarkt Upper Palatinate in Bavaria, Germany. You can see a lot of old cars built starting the 1920’s. It was already my third visit to this kind of gathering. This is probably because of my love of cars. I don’t know for some reason but I really love cars. I was able to find harley davidson accessories there but there are flyers and magazines of companies that deal cars and its parts and accessories. I guess it is very normal for such kind of gathering where businesses can advertise their products.
This is already a yearly event and I hope to come back there again next year.
Some of the classic cars during the Oldtimertreffen in Neumarkt last June 2012.

First of all, I am very thankful for the very nice weekend I had with friends. Last Saturday, we drove to Bamberg to attend the birthday party of our dear friend. Yesterday, I bid goodbye to a friend and her family who will be leaving today back to the U.S.A. We had a get-together last night and it was truly memorable. If there are a lot of friends who attended it last night, we might need some sort of cafeteria tables to accommodate everyone.
Most of all, we have fun exchanging ideas and experiences again. The night ended by saying goodbyes to our dear friend and her family! Have a safe trip back to the U.S.! We will surely miss you all!
So far, it was truly a lovely and memorable weekend! Thanks Goodness!

“What a wonderful pattern for fathers who aren’t in heaven! Granted, there is only one perfect Father in the universe, but as such He sets the pace for the rest of us less-than-perfect fathers. I discovered early in my ministry that my children were not impressed with books I wrote, titles I had, or places I spoke. They craved my time and attention, the provision for basic needs, a love that patiently forgave, and the creation of a safe place for them to grow and mature. It’s a short but very profound list of fatherly duties.”
-Joe Stowell of Our Daily Bread
I got this my my friend in facebook. I love it that I wanted to also share it to you.
Have a nice day everyone! Take care!

This was quite an expensive project but we are so happy about it. It is one of our home improvement plans and it is almost done done. It is actually a patio and garage at the same time. We started it since last spring 2011. Since hubby is only the one who do most of it, it took us quite a long time before the main structure was built. At least now, there is already a roof on it. The floor was just placed last month. We still need some better good looking patio furniture. I am wishing for a eucalyptus chaise lounge which is really perfect especially when you just want to lie down and relax and do some book reading. I simply love it!
It is still not finish but at least we can already sit down and spend some time relaxing on it. Here is an image of our patio. It is around 58 square meters big.

“Don’t ever be afraid of change.
Always remember, God will never take anything away from you
without the intention of replacing it
with something much better.”
from a friend’s wall in facebook.
