If you’re a sports fan, you may want to tie your favorite team into at least a part of the decor in your home. Whether it’s a bedroom, a game room, a man cave or the family room – incorporating some sports décor allows you to truly personalize a part of your home while showing everyone where your sports team loyalty lies. However, finding great sports décor can be difficult. Sometimes sports-related home accents can be poorly made, and that makes them look a bit cheap in an otherwise well-designed space. On the flip side, it can sometimes be difficult to find practical pieces for a room that aren’t your typical bobble heads and championship pennants. To get the best of both worlds – choose sports area rugs for a high quality and functional piece.
Any Team, Any Sport
You may be surprised at the overwhelming selection of sports area rugs that are actually available. The best place to shop for these accent pieces is online. Plenty of online rug and home décor websites have discounted prices, and you can even take advantage of fast and free shipping depending on which site you order from. Whether you’re looking for a generic sports rug that looks like a football field (perfect for a game room in a home with family members rooting for different teams) or something that shows your favorite team’s logo right in the middle, you can find rugs focused on the NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA. It is time for garden clean-up this autumn season. The golden October is truly calling to slowly clean our garden. I am glad because yesterday I already started cleaning up our garden. I was pulling out flowers from the pot that are slowly dying. I trimmed some flowers like roses, hibiscus and lavender. I was also planting some perennial herbal plants on the ground. These are plants that keep on coming back after winter season.
I already pulled-out most of these yellow flowers in our garden and threw in our compost peat. They are perennial plants and always come back every year. I will surely see them again next year.
I spent almost the whole day yesterday cleaning up. Well, you can let me work in the garden for 24 hours. In contrary, I am not a fan of ironing clothes but you can let me work in the garden for a day. (more…)

Whether you need to protect your home, business, or property, having the right type of security camera is key. The type of security camera you choose should depend directly on the type area in which you are using it. Many people aren’t aware of all the different varieties of cameras that are available. Optimize your security footage by selecting the best camera for the environment you are securing.
Infrared Security Camera
If you are looking to record footage in an area that features minimal light, an infrared camera is a great choice. Often referred to as night vision cameras, infrared cameras capture video in areas of complete darkness and very dim light. During the day, night vision cameras still capture high-resolution, color footage. At night, infrared security cameras capture black and white footage. Infrared cameras can be used both indoors and outdoors. (more…)

I am finally saying goodbye to summer. My favorite season of the year is officially over today, September 22, 2013. I will surely miss for some months the beautiful weather in this season.
Visiting Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic for the third time during summer season 2013.
What am I going to miss in summer? It is the season of the year where you can go out with your shirt, shorts and slipper. The longest days and the shortest nights can be experience in summer time. You can always experience blue sky and sunshine in this season. The surroundings are green and the flowers are blossoming. (more…)

Good day everyone! I am back here to give you a bit update. I would go for a walk this afternoon but since the weather is not so friendly, I decided to stay at home and do some household chores. I am slowly doing some autumn cleaning before the weather gets so nasty this season. I also need to do a lot of things before I got for a great trip again starting next week. This is how busy I am everyday!
This is the location of the lot. You can have a very nice view of the city of Cebu. I hope we can further develop it in the future.
My main topic is actually about a fence project that is going on right now. I bought a parcel of lot in my home country some years ago. I guess it was in 2005 and since it is fully paid 4 years ago, we decided to start the fencing project last month. I chatted with my brother who is in-charge for this project and he said that the budget is quite low now. I told him to wait next month again to continue the fencing. Oh well, just working slowly but surely. (more…)

Pests, I believed this is no longer a foreign word especially to homeowners and individuals who are currently experiencing it. Most of us know about this. Many of us might even experience pests not only in our home but also in our garden or anywhere around the world. If you are a farmer, you might also experience a plague caused by pests. Did you find ways to control or get rid of them?
Let me share specifically about pests that are attacking our own home. Last summer, our home was attacked by ants. I was wondering because there are actually no ants inside our home since the past 5 years. It was only last summer when this kind of pest attacked our home. Our kitchen, bedroom, toilets, living room, guestroom and patio were plagued with ants. We did not wait too long and we took an immediate action to get rid of them. (more…)

How’s everyone? I hope you are all having a wonderful first week of the month of September. If you are asking me, I can’t complain at the moment. Besides there is nothing to complain with this simple but happy life! Thanks Goodness! If I want to complain, I just wish that I can travel more and more! yay!
There is actually a project going on at the moment. I am starting to construct a fence in a piece of land I bought in my home country. It was no really big but for an almost 600 square meters space, this is quite a good investment. I was forced to build a fence around our boundaries because some neighbors are trying to use the lot like making it as garden and as their parking lot. (more…)

Melbourne is a great place to live in. The beach, the sand, the air, and the environment are really to die for, especially that the city is now following a green initiative. Even apartment landlords in Melbourne have started to follow the trend. The growing number of migrants can be owed to the city’s renewed commitment to preserve the environment —-even you might consider moving there. Before doing so, though, you must take the time to familiarize the common mistakes people make when looking to lease an apartment. This will keep you from committing such mistakes.
Looking for a place to call home, whether it is a house or an apartment, requires caution on the part of the potential renter. He or she must be aware of all the possibilities because living in a place where you feel extremely uncomfortable is —for lack of a better term—torture! (more…)

This is quite late but as the saying goes, “better late than never”. Besides my birthday party is about to happen…soon! The previous year of my life was amazing and full of surprises. There were a lot of challenges and trials but I am grateful that I had overcame it all! There were a lot of wonderful memories shared with family and friends. I couldn’t expect so many changes, so many both happy and sad moments.
I was on a cruise trip during my special day. It was a birthday gift from a loveone. I am so happy for all the greetings and messages I received thru phone calls and from my facebook friends who remembered my special day.
Thanks to my family and friends nearby for the time and thoughtfulness. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Most of I am thankful to God for giving me another year in my life. I am praying and hoping for more wonderful years. (more…)

Dandruff is a hair condition that has been around forever. Natural home remedies for dandruff have been used by many different cultures over the years, many of which are still used today.
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil or melaleuca oil, is one of the longest standing home remedies for dandruff. Tea tree oil is a strong smelling oil that is extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia trees for its medicinal value. Tea tree oil is a strong natural antiseptic, but also has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties. You can apply tea tree oil to the scalp in a number of ways. A small amount of the oil can be mixed in with your regular shampoo either on its own or mixed in with your regular shampoo to be used in the shower. Alternatively, you can mix a small amount of tea tree oil in a cup of warm water and then transfer the mixture into a spray bottle. This solution can then be sprayed liberally into the hair after shampooing, massaged into the roots and then pat dry after a few minutes.
