Spring Time is Garden Time!
Wow, the weather was just perfect the past days. I slowly feel the spirit of spring season. This is the time of the year when there are a lot things to do in the garden. This simply means that spring season is also the time to work in the garden especially for me who love garden work. The first spring flowers flowers were already blooming. It seems that they are like a balsam to my soul seeing these lovely flowers.
Tulips that bloom in our garden.
Here are some of the things I need to do this spring time;
Planting for more flowers and plants.
Last week, there were a lot of bulbous plants sold at the store in the next town. I bought some including bulbs of iris, lilies, gladiolas and freesia. I bought four packs and each pack contain around 10-40 bulbous plant. I already planted most of it and there is only one pack remaining. This morning when I went grocery shopping, I bought another 4 packs again of various kinds. I will plant it again tomorrow and I am hoping that I can plant everything before I go for another trip.

Cutting dried flowers and branches.
I already started cutting dried flowers since Saturday. I also want to do it again tomorrow. I am thankful that I have a good plant cutter for it.
Pulling and cutting of grasses.
There are already a lot of weeds and grasses to cut around our garden especially on the flower beds. This is another job that needs to be finish before I will start planting new plants and flowers.
First spring flowers start to blossom and grow.
Indeed, some of the spring flowers are growing right now especially the crocuses. The tulips and daffodils are also slowly growing. I always love seeing flowers that bloom.
