Christmas Tree is Finally Up!
The spirit of Christmas season is just around the corner! Some more weeks and we will be celebrating Christmas. Everytime this season comes, I always think of home. I know for some, especially to the victims of natural calamities like the recent typhoon in the Philippines, celebrating Christmas is quite sad especially for those who lost their loved ones and homes. I hope and pray that my brothers and sisters and all people in this world who are experiencing tragic moments in their lives will soon be healed and will be backed to their normal way of daily living. Be strong and keep on hoping! There is always light at the end of the tunnel..so as the saying goes!
Back to the main topic. I am happy to let you know that our Christmas tree is finally up! Inspite of being sick when I was making our Christmas tree two weeks ago, I still able to finish decorating it.
This time, I decided to choose a white Christmas tree. It is an artificial Christmas tree made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC). It is actually a new one which I bought after Christmas season last year. As far as I can remember, the original price of this Christmas tree was 79.00 Euros and I only bought it for 20.00 Euros. I am proud to be a wise shopper! lolz!
I decorated it with colored-glass Christmas balls ranging from lavender to violet, white and silver colors. I also put some Christmas lights around it. The silver tinsels I put around it made it more attractive. This is actually the photo I took after I was done with it. Now, I also put some violet tinsels around it.
I am not really a good decorator but I am still proud of myself doing some Christmas decors like this. I am quite happy and contented especially when I see it with Christmas lights on in the night.
