Home Improvements Still Going On
This is indeed a long term project. We started this ten years ago and up to now it is still going on. I guess, this home improvement for our retirement home will take some more years. I would say, another 5-10 years depending in the finances. Until we will retire there, I believed it is already done.
The terrace/patio which is still going on. I hope the workers can already paint it before I arrive there…soon!
I am really proud of this project. It cost a lot of hard work and money but it is slowly paying off because as of now, we are seeing the concrete results and the house is already standing.
We really never expect to build a like like this because we just planned a 2-room home. From time to time improvements are being made especially when there is a budget. The good thing is, we just build it slowly by slowly and the best thing is, it is debt-free at the moment.
I can’t imagine myself living in this retirement home when the right time comes. It is one of the many achievements I did in my life and the decision to built this home was indeed a great one. I am so thankful about it.
For now, my parents are living there. Everytime, we go on vacation we are surely visiting and staying there. I can’t wait to see this place again….soon!
There is only one thing I can say, plan it wisely before you build your home. Consider your finances, the location, the size of your home and other things that can help you build it smoothly and stress-free. Cheers!
