My Sister in Las Vegas
Another Monday of the week is here! How are you doing? I hope all is great! Time is really running so fast now. Some more days and January 2009 is over. I could still remember the New year’s party we had. Anyway, it is nice to share stories here especially my own personal experiences and others too. It is almost two years now that my sister migrated in Las Vegas. Actually she is married to an American. She is now presently working as Desk Nurse in one of the Home Care there. Going to the United States now is not easy especially after the 9/11 tragedy. I even applied for a tourist visa there in 2007 but it was denied. Now that I am a German citizen, I had the chance to visit US. In fact I was there last year for two months vacation and visited my sister.
As far as I can remember, my brother-in-law hired a lawyer to process the K1 visa of my sister. I exactly don’t know if it is a Federal Lawyer. But anyway, I just read that Federal Lawyers handle cases like criminal cases. I guess what my brother-in-law hired is not really a federal lawyer. One can hire a federal lawyer if he needs them to depend him on the court due to criminal charges. This is not an easy situation.
